Bafana look to tame Leopards in International Friendly

Hugo Broos was forced to field untried combinations against Namibia, which at times only serves to widen the selection base and does not promote the growth of settled teams.

He is expected to go the tried and tested route against Congo and start with the likes of Ronwen Williams, Zakhele Lepasa, Percy Tau and Lyle Foster in order to try and unsettle the visitors.

But let us not overlook the impressive display put in by Grant Magerman who was named the Man of the Match after producing a composed performance in central midfield. Margeman recently secured a three-year deal with SuperSport United where he is trhiving after moving from Mamelodi Sundowns, where he did not get much chance to play.

Congolese Coach Sébastien Desabre boasts a squad consisting of players from clubs across Europe and elsewhere in Africa for this friendly encounter after overcoming a decisive Group I Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan in Kinshasa in the weekend.

They will surely look to win here and round up a successful international break after a great showing in their last match.
