Friday 23 September

1/3 Brazil | Draw 7/2 | Ghana 7/1 (20:30)

Brazil take on Ghana at the Ocean Stadium in Le Havre on Friday night as both sides step up their preparations for this year’s World Cup in Qatar. This will be the fourth meeting between these two sides, with the five-time world champions winning all three ties – two 1-0 friendly wins and a 3-0 victory at the 2006 World Cup. Back the Selecao and take Home To Win To Nil at 19/20.

33/20 Morocco | Draw 19/10 | Chile 31/20 (21:00)

Morocco face Chile at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, Spain, on Friday as their preparation for the showpiece event in Qatar continues. Returning for the Atlas Lions is Chelsea playmaker Hakim Ziyech who will give the team a massive lift. Meanwhile, La Roja will be desperate to end a losing sequence which has seen them lose five games in a row. Back the North African giants.

Saturday 24 September

Argentina vs Honduras (02:00)

Lionel Messi’s Argentina will face Honduras at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium as they continue their preparations for November’s tournament in Qatar. The Albiceleste, who come into this game off a dominant 5-0 win over Estonia, will be heavy favourites to overcome the side that finished bottom in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying. The South American giants are confidently tipped to win.

South Africa vs Sierra Leone (15:00)

Bafana Bafana will once again be put to the test as they host Sierra Leone on Saturday at the FNB Stadium. Coach Hugo Broos has called up some new faces, while Mamelodi Sundowns’ Themba Zwane comes back into the fold. Overcoming the Leone Stars won’t be an easy task. The West African side have won their last two friendlies, beating Liberia and Congo, while they earned creditable draws away to Algeria and Cote d’Ivoire at the beginning of the year. The last time Bafana faced Sierra Leone was back in 2011 at the Mbombela Stadium where the match ended in a goalless draw. With very little confidence in a Bafana win, I’m going to back a draw.

Bolivia vs Senegal (19:00)

Senegal will warm up for the World Cup with a friendly against Bolivia at the La Source stadium on Saturday. Boasting the likes of Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane and Chelsea duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy, the Lions of Teranga will fancy their chances of seeing off a Bolivia side who have lost four in a row. I predict a comfortable win for the African champions.

Sunday 25 September

Colombia vs Guatemala (01:30)

Colombia will be looking to continue their impressive form when they face Guatemala at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. The Tricolors have won their last three matches, with victories over Bolivia, Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. I fancy them to make light work of the 118th-ranked side.
