Friday 28 October

13/10 Mallorca | Draw 9/4 | Espanyol 23/10 (21:00)

We kick the gameweek off with a tie between Mallorca and Espanyol. The hosts picked up their first win in five games with a 2-1 win away at Valencia, moving them three places up the table into 12th position.

The visitors, on the other hand, were held to a 2-2 draw at home to bottom side Elche and have lost each of their last two trips to the Visit Mallorca Stadium. I’m going to go with the home win – tentatively so.

Saturday 29 October

22/10 Almeria | Draw 47/20 | Celta Vigo 5/4 (14:00)

The first game on Saturday sees Almeria host Celta Vigo. Both sides will be desperate to pick up points from this game after a dismal start to the campaign.

Almeria have won their last two home games against Rayo Vallecano and Girona, scoring three goals in each game. Celta, meanwhile, have lost their last four on the road, shipping 12 goals. Take the home win here.

44/10 Cadiz | Draw 28/10 | Atletico Madrid 13/20 (16:15)

Following an impressive away victory against Real Betis, Atletico Madrid will be eyeing a comfortable win when they visit 19th-placed Cadiz. The hosts, who are yet to win at home, are winless in five and come into this off a heavy 5-1 defeat away to Rayo Vallecano.

Atleti have won their last three on the road in LaLiga and completed the double over Cadiz last season, winning 4-1 in this fixture before a 2-1 victory at the Metropolitano. Diego Simeone’s men also beat the Andalusian outfit 4-1 in pre-season at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla before kicking off the campaign. Back Los Colchoneros to come away with all three points.

17/20 Sevilla | Draw 51/20 | Rayo Vallecano 34/10 (18:30)

Sevilla’s underwhelming start to the season continued with a 3-1 defeat away to Real Madrid last weekend. The Rojiblancos find themselves 16th in the table and have now slipped to their fifth league defeat of the campaign already.

Rayo Vallecano, on the other hand, claimed a resounding 5-1 win at home to bottom-placed Cadiz. However, Rayo are winless in their last four away games, losing three in a row before holding Atletico Madrid to a draw. Not with confidence, but the home win is tipped.

4/1 Valencia | Draw 32/10 | Barcelona 13/20 (21:00)

Barcelona have found their rhythm again after suffering their first defeat away at Real Madrid. Since the 3-1 loss at the Bernabeu, Xaxi Hernandez’s side have won back-to-back games, claiming emphatic victories over Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao.

Valencia, on the other hand, are winless in three and come into this game off a 2-1 defeat at home to Mallorca. Barca won this fixture 4-1 last season and I’m backing them to pick up all three points.

Sunday 30 October

19/20 Osasuna | Draw 5/2 | Valladolid 3/1 (15:00)

Following back-to-back victories over Celta Vigo and Real Sociedad, Valladolid will be looking to continue their winning ways when they travel to face Osasuna.

But that will be easier said than done against the Pamplona-based side who have won four of their six home games this term.

This is one of those games you really want to be avoiding. But if you must have a go, take Both Teams to Score at 9/10.

1/4 Real Madrid | Draw 54/10 | Girona 10/1 (17:15)

These are the sort of games that are a breeze to tip – short and sweet with minimal fuss! Relegation-threatened Girona are in for a torrid afternoon this Sunday when they travel to the Bernabeu to face table-toppers Real Madrid. Back Carlo Ancelotti’s men to win on the -2 Handicap at 15/10.

12/10 Athletic Bilbao | Draw 24/10 | Villarreal 24/10 (19:30)

Villarreal begin life after Unai Emery with a tricky trip away to Athletic Bilbao. Recent meetings between the sides have invariably been tight affairs.

Of the last seven meetings between the two, five have ended in draws while the two victories for Bilbao were by a goal margin. I’m backing Bilbao on the Win/Draw Double Chance and Under 3.5 Goals at 8/10.

1/1 Real Sociedad | Draw 5/2 | Real Betis 26/10 (22:00)

Real Sociedad will look to get back to winning ways when they host Real Betis in the final game on Sunday.

Sociedad’s remarkable eight-match winning streak came to an end with a 1-0 defeat at Real Valladolid last weekend.

Meanwhile Betis were also beaten as Nabil Fekir scored a consolation goal for Manuel Pellegrini’s men but Antoine Griezmann’s brace inspired Atletico Madrid to a 2-1 away victory. In what should be a tight affair, I’m backing Sociedad to capitalize on home advantage.

Monday 31 October

18/10 Elche | Draw 43/20 | Getafe 33/20 (22:00)

We close out the gameweek with a tie between Elche and Getafe. Both sides will be desperate to pick up points from this game after a dismal start to the campaign.

Elche are the only team yet to win in the Spanish league this season and lie at the bottom of the table.

Getafe, on the other hand, are 17th on the log and just a point away from the relegation zone. The draw looks likely.

TREBLE @ 6/1
Atletico Madrid Win 13/20
Barcelona Win 13/20
Real Madrid -2 Handicap 15/10
