The two inter-club tournaments are approaching climax as they enter into the quarterfinal stages this weekend.

The competition will be wrapped with two-legged finals scheduled to take place in May.

The first leg of the prestigious and most sought-after Champions League will have the first leg on Saturday, May 18 while the second leg is set for Saturday, May 25.

Champions League title holders Al Ahly are still in the running for the top honours alongside South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns, Simba SC, Young Africans, TP Mazembe, Petro de Luanda, Asec Mimosas and Esperance de Tunis.

Zamalek, USM Algier, Rivers United, Stade Malien, Dreams FC, RS Berkane, Morden Future and Abu Salim are all fighting to contest the final of the Confed Cup.

The first leg of the decider will be on Sunday, May 12 while the second leg on Sunday, May 19.

Venues will depend on which teams qualify for the finals.
