The Belgium tactician revealed his satisfaction with how Mofokeng, Ngezana, and Msimango are integrating into the squad.

“You know, we have a very fantastic group also for new players,” Broos said.

“So, they are immediately received by them and it’s like they have been always with us. So, yeah, for me, it was nice to see them in training.

“You see those guys playing in their clubs, but yes, now the contact is very close.

“And you know them also as a human being. So, I mean, there’s three good guys. I think we made a good choice not only for football qualities but also for human qualities.”

Broos added that defender Khuliso Mudau was recovering well from a shoulder niggle picked up during the Nedbank Cup final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

“We will see Mudau like we always see him. And I hope it, because, as you said, he’s playing maybe against the best player for the moment of Nigeria in Lookman.

“So, for that, I’m confident, I know what he can do, I know his qualities, he did it on the Ivory Coast against South Africa.

“So, yes, full confidence.”

Bafana will face the Super Eagles on Friday at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Kick-off is at 21:00.
