The 32-year-old Colombian forward was sidelined for the first half of the season with a groin injury which required surgery but made his return to action in November when Chiefs beat Maritzburg United 1-0.

In a media interview, when asked about playing and scoring goals again, Castro said: “Hopefully, in the next game, I want to celebrate. I want to do my celebrations and show that I still have the hunger and the desire to play and to win for Kaizer Chiefs.

“The Nedbank Cup is an important tournament for us. We take each and every tournament seriously and we have to [approach] it in the right way, starting on the weekend. We have to give our all and continue into the next round.

“They [TS Galaxy] have quite a good team. We all know that when each and every team from the PSL comes to play Kaizer Chiefs, they give it their lives so, for us, it is important to focus on where we are and where want to be,” he added.
