In recent times, it has become a phenomenon for some of the top players in the world to move to the Middle East for lucrative deals.

World superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, N’golo Kante and others are currently plying their trades in the Saudi Pro League.

Mosimane, who has coached in countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, believes South Africa has good enough players to compete there.

“I’ve always said it, we have the product and even on the players, we have products to play in the Middle East,” Mosimane told media recently.

“We have the product to play with Sadio Mane and them. We have the product, but sometimes I don’t like to say which players because when I say it other people get upset that now he wants to take our players and all that,” he said.

“Everybody is happy now that coaches are leaving, it will come to the players. They will also follow and that’s good for the country, it creates space, and it changes people’s lives.

“So, you have to push the boundaries.”

Mosimane is currently unattached after parting ways with Abha FC following a failed mission to save the club from the axe in the Saudi Pro League.
