The 71-year-old once again made headlines on Monday after news from Tunisia stated he would soon be announced as their new national team boss.

Broos led Bafana to a third-place finish at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

The North African giants, who were in the same group as South Africa showed interest in appointing the Belgian as head coach.

“What you heard or what you read, I know nothing about it.

“Why should I leave such a good team as you,” said Broos.

Bafana will shift their focus on the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June as they will face Nigeria and Zimbabwe on the third and 10 that month.
