Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa has moved a step closer in his recovery from a serious ankle injury after returning to the club’s training base.
Lepasa has not been involved in competitive action in 2021 due to a long-term injury. An injury that he initially picked up on December 16 2020 in the DStv Premiership match against Chippa United.
Having been on the sidelines for over eight months question marks appeared, there were fake news circulating that he actually had to hang up his boots due to the seriousness of his injury.

The former TS Galaxy star has started training and will soon be available for selection.
