Julian Nagelsmann’s Bayern Munich host his former employers, RB Leipzig, at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund continue their pursuit of the summit when Bayer Leverkusen travel to Signal-Iduna-Park.

Bochum open proceedings in the capital against Hertha Berlin hoping to continue from where they left off, collecting seven points from their last four matches. Hertha Berlin, on the other hand, are winless in four games including three losses to Cologne, Union Berlin, and Bayern Munich.

The hosts claimed a 3-1 win in the reverse tie, however, in current form I don’t have any confidence backing them. Instead, take Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 7/10 odds.

13/10 Cologne | Draw 51/20 | Freiburg 19/10 (16:30)

Cologne will be seeking to return to winning ways when Freiburg comes to town. After three straight wins, the Billy Goats suffered a 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich and shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Bochum in their last fixture.

Meanwhile, Freiburg have become a much-improved team towards the back end of 2021, currently sitting fifth in the standings. Cologne settled for a 1-1 draw after playing out the last meeting between these sides with 10-men, which followed convincing 4-1 and 5-0 wins for Freiburg.

There away win offers plenty of value.

15/10 Mainz | Draw 51/20 | Hoffenheim 33/20 (16:30)

Hoffenheim make the trip to MEWA Arena in the Southwest of Germany, hoping to bounce back after tasting back-to-back Bundesliga defeats and being knocked out of the DFB Pokal by Freiburg.

Coach Sebastian Hoeneb’s men were on a seven-game unbeaten run that catapulted them up the standings leaving them in a decent position (seventh), despite the recent slump.

Mainz won the last two meetings between these opponents, although coming into this clash with three defeats in four matches doesn’t bode well for their chances. Select Hoffenheim to claim maximum points.

37/20 Augsburg | Draw 47/20 | Union Berlin 29/20 (16:30)

Augsburg find themselves precariously hovering above the relegation zone, coming into the clash with a five-match winless streak in the Bundesliga including heavy defeats on the road away to Hoffenheim (3-1) and Bayer Leverkusen (5-1).

Union Berlin are in fine form, winning back-to-back games against Hoffenheim and Borussia Monchengladbach while improving their away record – unbeaten in three matches. Union Berlin is the way to go at 29/20 odds.

17/10 Stuttgart | Draw 5/2 | Eintracht Frankfurt 15/10 (16:30)

Eintracht Frankfurt flies into the Mercedes-Benz-Arena looking to further pile the misery on Stuttgart who are second from bottom. The home team are desperate and in need of a competitive second half of the season trying to avoid a return to Germany’s second division.

Following a fantastic spell of results, The Eagles let their strong footing slip with underwhelming performances against Borussia Dortmund, Augsburg and Arminia Bielefeld.

Eintracht Frankfurt is the way to go at 15/10, however, if you’re feeling brave – add the Both Teams To Score (Yes) option to get odds of 34/10.

47/20 Arminia Bielefeld | Draw 5/2 | Borussia Monchengladbach 11/10 (16:30)

Arminia Bielefeld entertain Borussia Monchengladbach at the Schuco Arena. The visitors come into the clash losing consecutive league games to Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin while being knocked out of the DFB Pokal by Hannover 96.

Meanwhile, the home team are in excellent form – unbeaten in five matches including wins over Bochum, RB Leipzig, and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The visitors have dominated this fixture in the past, although this time around I’m backing a share of the spoils at 5/2.

4/10 Bayern Munich | Draw 4/1 | RB Leipzig 5/1 (19:30)

RB Leipzig travel to the Allianz Arena to lock horns with Julian Nagelsmann’s Bayern Munich juggernaut in the pick of this round’s action. The Bavarians have won nine of their last 10 matches across all competitions and reigned victorious in the last meeting against the Red Bulls with a 4-1 win.

RB Leipzig come into the clash in impressive form – winning three consecutive matches against Mainz, Stuttgart, and Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, Portuguese striker Andre Silva has his eye in for goal and is likely to score RB Leipzig.

My suggestion is back Bayern Munich Win & Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 29/20.

English Premier League: Gameweek 24 Preview

Sunday 6 February

9/10 Borussia Dortmund | Draw 31/10 | Bayer Leverkusen 47/20 (16:30)

Borussia Dortmund have been one of the most consistent teams among my weekend tickets – winning three straight matches with the exact same selection – Borussia Dortmund to win and Both Teams To Score (Yes).

The Yellow and Blacks are within six points of leaders Bayern Munich and need to continue their consistency.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen in third position, trailing Bayern by 14 points. Die Werkself come into the clash with wins over Borussia Monchengladbach (2-1) and Augsburg (5-1).

Although, my selection remains Borussia Dortmund Win & Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 39/20 odds.

6/10 Wolfsburg | Draw 3/1 | Greuther Furth 42/10 (18:30)

Wolfsburg are in the poorest form in the league, while Greuther Furth were pretty much relegated after 10 top-flight matches. It won’t be the most exciting match this weekend, especially for the Wolves who’ve lost their Dutch striker Wout Weghorst to English Premier League club Burnley.

The visitors drew three straight games which tallied valuable points, before beating Mainz 2-1, prior to the international break. If you’re going to have a bet, I suggest taking Greuther Furth on the Double Chance at 11/10.
