Orlando Pirates midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo is aiming to add more goals and assists to his game as the DStv Premiership is set to resume this weekend.

Ndlondlo, who has managed a solitary goal and two assists in 21 appearances in the first half of the season, said he was eager to add more end product for Pirates.

Pirates resume their campaign with a tough assignment against Sundowns on Saturday.

“I am not entirely happy with my contribution this season but with the little glimpse I’ve shown, I am confident I am getting somewhere,” Ndlondlo said.

“There’s always room for improvement. I really want to improve in the second half of the season by scoring more goals and providing more assists because that would help the team win more games.

“There are not a lot of things that need to be changed.

“It’s only the mindset. Other than that, we’ve been doing well, so in the second round of the season our focus will be mainly on improving our mental strength.”

Pirates go into the second half of the season in fifth place on the league table with 25 points from 16 games. They trail league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by 13 points.
