Striker Ranga Chivaviro found the back of the net since December after scoring a brace as 10-man Kaizer Chiefs were held to a 2-2 draw by TS Galaxy at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.
Chivaviro opened the scoring for the Glamour Boys in the 18th minute to give Cavin Johnson’s side a dream start.
TS Galaxy though, hit back in the 32nd minute as Sphiwe Mahlangu converted from the penalty spot to draw level.
To compound matters for Chiefs, they were reduced to ten men just before the half-time break for the second consecutive match when defender Edmilson Dove received his marching orders.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, Chiefs took the lead just five minutes after the break as Chivaviro grabbed a brace as the Glamour Boys looked to clinch a return to winning ways.
The Soweto giants’ hopes of a morale-boosting win were dashed in the 76th minute when Mahlangu grabbed a brace of his own to level the scores.
The spoils were shared as Chiefs remain in eighth position in the DStv Premiership standings with three matches left to play.
