The spotlight continues to shine on referees in South Africa’s top-flight division after Kaizer Chiefs were denied what seemed to be a clear penalty in their MTN8 semi-final clash last weekend.

14 Points separate Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in the league ahead of their MTN8 final encounter on the 7th October.

Many pundits have already called for the league trophy to be handed to the reigning champions as there seems to be no challenge for them yet again this season.

After his goal in the win over Sekhukhune United, Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove will feel he fully deserves a start in their next game.

Dove stood out among the defenders on the pitch, putting his hand up as one of Chiefs’ most resillient players.
