Jali, who has 49 caps for Bafana Bafana, has decided against hanging up his boots after an acrimonious departure from Moroka Swallows at the end of last season.

The 34-year-old has won several major honours for Pirates and Sundowns while also featuring for Belgian first-division side KV Oostende in an illustrious career thus far.

His agent, Mike Makaab, had confirmed recently that Jali would not be retiring.

“We had a meeting, AJ has made the decision, he wants to continue playing,” Makaab said.

“Which is something I am happy with. Now the next thing is to look for opportunities for him and make the right decision.”

And now the player himself has announced that he will be playing in the PSL’s top flight next season but says he is not permitted to disclose which club he is going to be representing.

“Everything has been sorted out. I have signed and [am] looking forward to next season. I can’t reveal the name of the team. My agent and the team are in a good position to do that.’ Jali told KickOff.
