The young attacking midfielder was promoted to Chippa United’s senior team in the previous campaign after having a stellar season with the reserve side.

Mqokozo has only made nine appearances for the Chilli Boys across all competitions and contributed two assists in the Nedbank Cup.

Coach Thabo September speaking after a 2-0 deficit to Orlando Pirates on Wednesday reckons the 22-year-old is a special left-footed player and won’t stay at the club.

“He won’t stay long (Mqokozo) left-footed players they are special players when they are playing in advanced positions,” September explained.

“So, when it’s a left-footer there is something special. Diane (Klate) was a different kind of special but left-footers always give you problems.
