Amakhosi have played their three opening games, winning two and losing once.

They are next in action in the league away to SuperSport United on 26 October, after the FIFA international break, although their first Carling Knockout fixture of the new season is expected to start on the weekend of October 19/20.

Explaining his disappointment, Nabi said in the Sowetan: “I don’t understand why the league stops like that after three games, really?

“We started on 16 September and played three games and we stop, guys please.”

Nabi side most recently lost 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, and are set to play a friendly against the Brazilians during their downtime.

“We’ve scheduled some friendly games and among the teams that we are going to face, we also have Sundowns,” added the Chiefs coach.
