Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi showcased squad depth in a commanding 4-0 win over Mbabane Swallows.
This commanding victory at Lucas Moripe Stadium over the weekend resulted in an 8-0 aggregate triumph and showcased the team’s ability to maintain momentum ahead of the FIFA international break.
Mngqithi rotated his squad significantly from the previous week’s 2-0 win against SuperSport United, but the result was a testament to their adaptability.
The coach now turns his focus to upcoming fixtures against Marumo Gallants and Kaizer Chiefs, aiming to build on this winning streak.
“It’s always nice to win and to score many goals because it brings confidence in the group, but the most important thing for me is that it brings a lot of competition in the team,” he stated during the post-match press conference.

Mngqithi expressed satisfaction with the team’s scoring ability, saying, “I thought we should have scored more than four again.
