Sipho Mbule has been suspended by SuperSport United for ‘disrespecting his teammates and technical team’.
Club chiefs Stan Matthews confirmed the news that the midfielder has been banned ‘until further notice’.
The 24-year-old has hardly featured for his club this campaign after indications he returned to pre-season overweight.
He was said to be a target for Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in recent months and suposedly went AWOL, explained recent reports in the press, while Mbule was a notable absentee during SuperSport’s media day on Wednesday.
Matthews told TimesLive: “Sipho has been excused from training until further notice for disrespecting his teammates and the technical team.”
