Having seen limited action so far this season, with just seven cameo appearances, each lasting no more than 20 minutes, Zwane is determined to make a significant impact as the DStv Premiership resumes.

Zwane, now in his second season with the Chiefs first-team, made a noteworthy debut last year under the guidance of mentor Arthur Zwane. In his maiden season, he featured 15 times across all competitions, with a notable distinction of starting in 10 of those appearances. However, the current campaign has seen him play a supporting role, often entering as a late substitute.

“I’m well. I have been keeping fit, and training with the guys. I have been working very hard in training, just waiting for my opportunity, which I’ll grab with both hands,” Zwane said in an interview with the club’s official website.

Acknowledging areas for improvement in his game, Zwane remains confident, citing the unwavering support from coach Cavin Johnson and his teammates. “I feel I could have done better in the games I have played, but I have great support from the coaches and my teammates that encourage me to keep growing and improving,” he revealed.

Chiefs’ next league encounter against TS Galaxy scheduled for 13 February has been postponed due to Bafana Bafana’s late arrival due to the AFCON.
