Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro was delighted with Evidence Makgopa’s Soweto Derby winner against Kaizer Chiefs.
Makgopa was the difference for Bucs as he scored the only goal at the FNB Stadium after 20 minutes on Saturday.
The result saw Riveiro’s side move onto 15 points in seven place on the DStv Premiership standings with their fourth win from their opening 10 league games.
Amakhosi ended the afternoon in ninth place with 14 points, and four wins from 12 games.

Speaking after the encounter, the Pirates boss said on SuperSport: “[He has] amazing numbers in each every game, but we look at him when he is scoring.
“It’s normal, he’s a striker, but he has been doing an excellent job for the team so far.
“I’m so happy for him today because sometimes it’s not easy for our young boys to deal with all you have to deal with when you play for a big club.
“He’s getting experience and this goal is gonna help him a lot for the future.”
