According to various reports, both Sekhukhune United and Esperance reached an agreement on a transfer fee nearing R13 million for the South African international.

The finalisation of Mokwana’s move depended on him passing the medical evaluation.

A reliable Kick Off source at Sekhukhune confirmed the plans for Mokwana’s medical assessment. “Everything has been sorted. He has received his visa. He is flying out to Tunisia this afternoon (Monday).

“He is accompanied by his agent. He is set to sign on the dotted line on Wednesday,” the source revealed.

Mokwana’s flight was scheduled for Monday, with the medical assessment slated for Wednesday.

This transfer marks a significant milestone in Mokwana’s career. Just three years ago, he was playing in the ABC Motsepe League with Platinum City Rovers. His impressive performances have now brought him to the brink of joining the three-time African champions, Esperance, and solidified his position in the senior national team.

In his tenure with Babina Noko, Mokwana has made notable contributions on the field. Over two seasons, he scored six goals and provided seven assists in 65 appearances across all competitions.

His consistent solid performances attracted attention and eventually led to the opportunity with Esperance.

The move to Esperance not only represented a personal achievement for Mokwana but also highlighted his potential to make a significant impact in North African football.
