Coach Tlisane Motaung says it’s still too early to panic after his side dropped points in PSL playoffs against Richards Bay on Wednesday.
AmaTuks start their contention to get the DStv Premiership promotion on a high note as they defeated Baroka 1-0 on Sunday at the Tuks Stadium.
However, their second attempt at the promotional playoff fell short after suffering a deficit to Richards Bay.
Motaung the mento of AmaTuks believes that the league is still open and it’s too early anything can happen in the group.
“It’s open to anyone at this stage we are still optimistic that we are challenging for it (to win the playoffs),” said Motaung.
“Of course, Saturday Baroka plays Richards Bay and it brings Baroka to play you know. So, we have to compete, we are left with two games.
“Richards Bay still has three games to play, so, we don’t need to panic at this stage.
“Had we played a draw the previous game and we lost this one (against Richards Bay) I was going to panic.
“But it’s at this stage playing field it’s 11 against 11, it’s about now what is our break application in the next two games.”
The Tshwane side currently occupies the second spot in the group with the same points as the Natal Rich Boys who sit at the top thanks to goal difference.
