DStv Premiership side TS Galaxy announced on Tuesday at Mbombela Stadium that the club has reached an historic agreement with German outfit FC Augsburg to host an annual tournament in July.
The two sides also confirmed a partnership deal that will see players being possibly signed by FC Augsburg in the future in a pathway for South African players in the DStv Premiership to the European stage.
This follows The Rockets participating in a European tour as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2023/24 campaign where they finished the season in a lofty sixth position, just a point off fourth in the standings in an exceptional campaign for Sead Ramovic’s side.
