17/20 Genoa | Draw 51/20 | Salernitana 7/2 (20:45)

Genoa unfortunately lost 2-0 in their previous outing to Atalanta despite giving a good account of themselves. Coming into this fixture on the back of two consecutive defeats is damaging to the team’s confidence but will use the energy the home fans give off in getting back to winning ways. Salernitana have failed to reach the standards of the Serie A and sit in 19th place on four points and are yet to register a victory after nine games. They managed to pick up a much-needed point in their previous match which could perhaps fuel their fire to go for the win. Back the home win here.

Saturday 28 October

15/10 Sassuolo | Draw 51/20 | Bologna 17/10 (15:00)

Sassuolo are winless in their previous three fixtures. The loss in their previous fixture sees them drop down to 13th place with 10 points after nine games. A huge performance is required from the Neroverdi as they look to pick up their first home victory after two consecutive defeats on home soil. Bologna continues to deliver strong performances and are now unbeaten in their last five fixtures. The two early goals by Lewis Furguson and Lorenzo De Silvestri were enough to secure victory in their previous game and will look to back up that impressive win with another important victory away from home. Bologna is the better of the two teams at this point, back the away win.

18/10 Lecce | Draw 2/1 | Torino 17/10 (18:00)

Lecce had a great start to the campaign but have failed to maintain that level of performances. They managed to come away with a point in the 1-1 draw with Sassuolo previously after two consecutive losses. The Giallorossi are desperate to get back to winning ways and will use this match to getting back on track. Torino are winless in their last five fixtures and come into this match on the back of two consecutive defeats. The Maroons have a lot of work to do in getting back to their very best and must focus more on the basics and work as a unit if they look to put Lecce to the sword. Both teams in poor but I see Lecce pinching the win.

4/10 Juventus | Draw 39/10 | Verona 7/1 (20:45)

Juventus are up to third place after their impressive 1-0 victory over title rivals AC Milan. The swagger and confidence that Juve are currently playing with makes them a formidable opponent to face. The Bianconeri are flying high and will be determined to pick up their third straight win and a fourth consecutive home victory. Verona are struggling at the moment and have picked up just a single point in their last three outings in the league. The use of creative counter attacking football along with disciplined defending will be what the Gialloblu will need when they travel to the Allianz Stadium to face the inform Juventus. Juventus to win with over 2.5 goals.

Sunday 29 October

27/20 Cagliari | Draw 47/20 | Frosinone 2/1 (13:30)

Cagliari are dead last with three points after nine games played and are still yet to record a victory this season. Ultimately, executing a well-planned gameplan with precision is the best way for the Rossoblu to maximize their chances of coming away with a positive result. Frosinone have their inconsistencies to blame for their downfall. The 2-1 loss to Bologna does not reflect their performance as they controlled most parts of the game. There is more to come from the Giallazzurri and will use this fixture to showcase their talent and ability to collect another important three points. Frosinone to win away from home.

21/20 Monza | Draw 5/2 | Udinese 5/2 (16:00)

Monza ended their four-match unbeaten streak with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Roma. The Biancorossi do play well at home and have scored five goals and only conceding a single goal across their last four fixtures at home. A must win as they look to climb their way back to the top half of the log standings. Udinese are just one point above the relegation zone with five points after nine games. There has been very little progress from the Friulani as they come into this fixture on the back of three consecutive draws. Approaching this fixture with the right mindset and determination could turn those draws into a victory and a more important three points. Back the home win here.

13/20 Inter Milan | Draw 29/10 | Roma 46/10 (19:00)

Inter Milan hold on to top spot for another week running as they saw off Torino in a comfortable 3-0 victory. It is clear to say that Milan are serious title contenders and with just one loss in their last six meetings with Roma shows that Milan have dominated this fixture and being at home could give them the extra edge they need to pick up the win. Roma will be confident coming into this massive fixture after three consecutive victories. The form that Giallorossi find themselves in gives them the best possible chance to go toe-to-toe with Inter Milan. Houssem Aouar, Paulo Dybala and captain Lorenzo Pellegrini will all need to bring their A-game on the day to put a stop to Inter Milan’s dominance. Inter Milan will be too strong at home and will get the win, Milan to win.

5/4 Napoli | Draw 24/10 | AC Milan 22/10 (21:45)

Napoli got back to winning ways, defeating Verona 3-1 after a shock defeat to Fiorentina. The Azzurri will have extra fire in their belly as they look to rectify past mistakes against a familiar rival. Controlling the tempo of the game and dictating play will be key to their success in front of their home fans. AC Milan lost to Juventus 1-0 last time out which saw them end a four-match unbeaten streak. The Rossoneri are in second place with 21 points after nine games. Having the better of Napoli in recent times will allow Milan to come out and attack Napoli with purpose with hopes of getting back to winning ways. This could go either way and I see a draw in this one.

Monday 30 October

37/10 Empoli | Draw 28/10 | Atalanta 15/20 (19:30)

Empoli have had a change in fortunes in recent matches, picking up four points in the last three fixtures. The Azzurri sit just one point above the relegation zone and will need another massive performance and three points to keep themselves out of the relegation fight. Atalanta occupy that last European place after they were made to sweat in their 2-0 victory against Genoa. The Nerazzurri are still a work in progress after nine games played but are starting to find their feet as they look to add another three points to their tally. Atalanta to win comfortably.

27/20 Lazio | Draw 47/20 | Fiorentina 2/1 (21:45)

Lazio are making steady progress after a shocking start to the new campaign. They come into this home fixture on the back of two very big victories, defeating Sassuolo and Atalanta respectively. Playing at home will give them freedom to come out and express themselves as they look to put in a shift worthy of another three points. Fiorentina are looking to avoid a second defeat after they lost to Empoli last time out. Vincenzo Italiano will not be happy with the way his team ended their four-match unbeaten run and will use this fixture with extreme caution and belief to get back to winning ways and record their fourth away victory of the season. This will be a closely contested match and I see Lazio snatching the three points on home soil.
