We have come to the end of yet another exhilarating and spectacular season of Serie A with many memorable moments to look back on. Now, the focus is on the last round of fixtures we have on display, as teams look to finish the season off on a positive note.

AC Milan 8/10 | Draw 28/10| Hellas Verona 38/10 (15:00)

AC Milan come into this fixture on the back of an important win against Italian giants Juventus that secures Milan Champions League football for next season and will look to finish the season off with another win as they welcome Verona to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on the final day.

This will be the biggest fixture for Verona this season as they fight it out to avoid relegation on the last day. They’ll look to come out guns blazing from the start as maximum points is the priority of the day. However, AC Milan are tipped to win.

Atalanta 5/10 | Draw 4/1 | Monza 42/10 (15:00)

Atalanta were beaten by Inter Milan in their previous fixture but have a chance to make things right and get the win in the last game of the season in front of their home fans as they look to put Monza to the sword.

Monza are looking to finish the season off in the top half of the table this season and a win will secure that spot as they find themselves in good form on their travels with three wins and two draws in their previous five away fixtures. Atalanta will be too strong on their home turf though, back the home win.

Cremonese 17/10 | Draw 26/10 | Salernitana 15/10 (15:00)

Cremonese have had a disappointing season and have been relegated after just 24 points from 38 games. It will be the last home game in the topflight and they’ll want to go out giving a top performance to their fans as life in the top-flight comes to an end.

Salernitana have managed to do enough to avoid relegation and keep their spot in the topflight for next season but have not had much joy on the road and will fight to come away with maximum points against Cremonese. A fixture that will be full of emotions as the home team drops the curtain on a disappointing season. With nothing to play for, I back Salernitana to come away victorious.

Empoli 51/20 | Draw 11/4 | Lazio 1/1 (15:00)

The Stadio Carlo Castellani will be rocking on the last day for Empoli and with good home form, the home ground advantage will be of great use as they look to pull off an upset and come away with all three points as they drop the curtain on a long demanding season.

Lazio are this season’s runners-up and can take away a lot of positives from this season and build on for next season as they look to challenge for the title again. But as the campaign comes to an end, the team from the city of Roma will look to finish the season off with a win when they travel to the city of Empoli. Lazio will be dominant and come away with maximum points in this final fixture.

Lecce 17/10 | Draw 22/10 | Bologna 7/4 (15:00)

Lecce have managed to stay out of the relegation battle by the skin of their teeth and have secured their spot in the topflight next season. Coach Marco Baroni will want a win in this last fixture as they bring an end to a difficult season.

Bologna will finish the season off in midtable and come into this fixture full of confidence as they held league champions Napoli to a 2-2 draw at home in their previous fixture. Thiago Motta will be urging his players to go out and be professional and direct to come away with all three points. Both teams come into this fixture with identical form, but I’m backing Bologna.

Napoli 2/7 | Draw 5/1 | Sampdoria 17/2 (15:00)

Champions of Serie A, Napoli will take to the field for the final time of the season and will look to send their fans home with a win after a memorable title-winning season. Luciano Spalletti has done a tremendous job this season and it will be business as usual for the Azzurri who will target another three points on the line.

Sampdoria have by far been the worst team of the season, only managing three wins out of 38 games. This will be a season to forget for Sampdoria and even though they face a huge task on the final day, Dejan Stankovic will hope to finish it off on a positive note. Napoli to win.

Roma 17/20 | Draw 26/10 | Spezia 31/10 (15:00)

Roma has a decent home record and will look to add Spezia to their list of casualties as they close their season. Jose Mourinho being the serial winner he is will not take this game light and will demand all three points on the final day.

Spezia are deep in the relegation battle and have it all to play for on the final day as they try to avoid the relegation axe. This will be an action-packed fixture with everything riding on the outcome for Spezia as this is the most important fixture for the season. This fixture has a lot riding on it, and I will give the win to Spezia.

Sassuolo 17/10 | Draw 28/10 | Fiorentina 14/10 (15:00)

Sassuolo have not reached the heights of previous seasons and find themselves in disappointing form in recent weeks, currently occupying 13th spot on the log, but look to close the season off with a massive win against a solid opponent in Fiorentina.

Fiorentina have had a good season playing some exciting football at times and for their huge efforts find themselves in the Europa Conference finals. A win will be on the cards as that will set them up to be ready and full of confidence for the final. Fiorentina will show how much they have grown in terms of football and come away with the win.

Torino 47/20 | Draw 26/10 | Inter Milan 11/10 (15:00)

Torino demolished Spezia in their previous fixture and coach Ivan Juric will demand the same energy and performance on the last day as they welcome Italian giants and Champions League finalists to their home turf.

Inter Milan will look to remain professional and determined as the road to the final is on the horizon. Simone Inzaghi knows the importance of winning these matches as the moral and energy in the camp could be the difference in lifting silverware this season. Inzaghi will demand a dominant performance from his players and all three points. Inter Milan will look to dominate and control proceedings as they build up for the final. Back Inter Milan to win.

Udinese 31/10 | Draw 26/10 | Juventus 9/10 (15:00)

The last time Udinese defeated Juventus was back in 2020, and with home ground advantage, this could be their chance to pull of an upset and get the win at home. Norberto, the Portuguese attacker will be the man to put pressure on Juventus backline and add to his goal tally of 10 goals this season.

Juventus have had a season to forget with one foot in the door to Champions League football to later being deducted 10 points late on in the season that now sees the Bianconeri fall out of the European places and now occupy seventh spot. It is clear to see that Juve have not been their very best and a win will be expected as they have an outside chance of making the last European place. I’m backing the Old Lady to win.
