With the English Premier League drawing to a close and with Manchester City almost certain to win this year’s title. We shift the focus to this year’s PFA Player’s Player of the Year Award.
The top two possible options for this year’s award are Kevin de Bruyne and Mohamed Salah for their special 2017-18 seasons.
Salah is currently the leading goal scorer in the EPL and after Harry Kane’s injury, he looks set to stretch his five-goal lead even further and win the EPL golden boot. The Egyptian is at the forefront of involvements in goals, and his performances have led his team to a realistic UEFA Champions League title challenge.
The Belgian international, Kevin de Bruyne, has dominated in the playmaking area, leading with the most amount of through balls, crosses, and assists. De Bruyne is at the epicentre of City’s lethal attack that will almost surely see the Cityzens win this year’s English Leaguer League.
