TRACES finished 1.65 lengths behind FILIPPO last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. All three of his victories have come over this distance and he will be looking to add to that tally today.
Race 4: LEGISLATE’S DANC (7)

LEGISLATE’S DANCE was a tad disappointing in his last start over 1950m on this course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. His penultimate run when finishing second over 1900m on the polytrack catches the eye. He may be better suited to this distance at this stage of his career and can shed his maiden tag.
Race 7: SHARE HOLDER (1)
Jockey: Moodley S – Trainer: Lafferty P
SHARE HOLDER was not disgraced when finishing fourth in the Listed Michael Roberts Handicap, four weeks ago. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He carries a light mass of 51kgs and if switching off early, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

FOLLOW MY PATH ran a fair race in his local debut against stronger company over this C&D. It must be noted that the horse that finished sixth that day has come out and won since. The son of Eightfold Path takes a drop in class today and can get back to winning ways.
