Race 1
APSARA is a 2yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has only had the two runs to date and finished close up last time out over six furlongs. She has cracked pole position and should be a big runner here. CONSIDERATE is another 2yr old filly. She returns from a 27-week break but has had the benefit of a barrier trial. She finished fourth on debut over five furlongs and could be the biggest threat to the former. The balance of the field has weak form, but there are three unraced runners in the race and special attention should be paid to the betting markets to get some indication as to how the various stables think about their chances of success. None of them have unfortunately had barrier trials. If not fancied, then BIGNOTA could fill third place after showing some improvement in his last two outings. FENDER BENDER showed enough on debut over 1100M, but has a wide draw to deal with here.

Race 2
MILLIONDOLLARBILL finished second on debut over this c&d when friendless in the betting market. He is drawn the widest of them all, but gets a set of blinkers fitted for the first time and if these have the desired effect, he should be right up there in the dash down to the line. HICKOK had a good debut over five furlongs after two barrier trials. He would have learnt from the experience and could pose a threat to the top choice. NATIONAL CHOICE has his first outing, but he turned in a good barrier trial and if not too green, he could be involved in the finish. The betting market could be the best guide as to his chances. DAISY CAKES is a 2yr old filly taking on males. She did not show the expected improvement second time out, but she drops to a lesser center here and may do better as a result.

Race 3
SANBUCK is a speedy sort who was only caught in the shadow of the post last time out over the c&d to be denied victory by a head. He is drawn the widest of them all, but he is likely to jump and go and will be hoping to hold off the challengers in the closing stages. SOCIETY BILL has only had the two starts and drops back to 1112M after a solid last effort over six furlongs. BLOOMINCRAFTY was a little disappointing last time out over the c&d, but a repeat of his penultimate outing over six furlongs would see him involved in the finish here. SACRED TYCOON has his debut without having had a barrier trial and his fitness will have to be taken on trust. He jumps from gate two and any betting support for him should be respected

Race 4
The 3yr old fillies could fill three of the four top spots in this race, with HENLEY MISS getting the nod. She finished strongly to be just a 0.9L third last time out over 1100M suggesting that the 1312M will be to her liking. MURGANELLA could split the fillies. He has his first run in 18 weeks and for his new trainer. He improved in his last outing over six furlongs before the rest and has pulled pole position. If fully acclimatized to his new surroundings, he should be a factor here. DIHHI is the next of the three fillies. She has had two solid runs and was a short-head loser of her penultimate start over the c&d. CREMANT finished fifth on debut but was only 1.3L behind the winner. She has a wide draw to negotiate, but she no doubt would have come on with the run and should be respected today.

Race 5
TOFF LOVE finished just a head behind the winner in his last outing over 1300M and despite his wide draw, he should be right up there in the mix. INDISPENSABLE has an even wider draw to overcome, but he followed up his win over 1300M with a solid next start over the same trip. He was making good late progress that day and should be included in all bets. BATTLE MASTER has posted two good runs over a mile and did win over seven furlongs three runs back. The blinkers are re-fitted today, which should sharpen him up. KEY TO THE MAK is a 5yr old mare taking n the boys, but she won last time out over the c&d and should give the males a good run for their money.

Race 6
DARK ALLEY missed out on completing his hat-trick last time out when trying sixteen furlongs and the shorter distance is sure to be to his liking. He also takes a drop in class and he could be the one that they all have to beat here. CASTEL SANT’ANGELO has solid staying form to his credit and was just beaten a half-length last time out over 2700M. He looks the obvious threat to the former. BIG SUR made good late progress when finishing a close up fourth last time out over ten furlongs. He should appreciate the extra ground available today. MOUNTAIN BREATH is a 5yr old mare taking on some hard-knocking males, but she is seldom too far back and she should keep the boys honest.

Race 7
ROCK TYCOON put three lengths between himself and the rest of the field when winning his last outing over six furlongs. He starts from a handy draw and will get 2kgs taken off his back courtesy of his claiming apprentice. CROCKETT returns from a 20-week break and drops back to sprinting after three runs over seven furlongs. He is not without a chance in this line-up. MINYINGA is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she has finished less than a length behind the winner in her last two outings over six furlongs and although drawn the widest, she should give a good account of herself here. CHEVALIER D’EON is a 4yr old filly who won her last start over five furlongs. She has cracked pole position and is one for the shortlist.

Race 8
The last race on the day looks to be a tricky affair and some caution is advised. The narrow first pick goes to REXMONT who finished a half-length second last time out over a mile. From pole position, he should be right up there in the firing line. REBEL TYPHOON jumps from a mid-field draw and should make his presence felt in this contest. TRANSLATOR won last time out over a mile to record his maiden victory. He takes on stronger here, but he may just be up to the task on hand. CASH FOR DIAMONDS is a 6yr old mare taking on males, but she has gate four and was staying on well last time out over a mile. She should not be lightly dismissed.
