Durban’s Super Giant vs MI Cape Town | Thursday 2 February 2023 | Kingsmead, Durban | 17:30

Durban Super Giants 5/4 | Tie 25/1 | Mi Cape Town 67/100

DSG will need to win both of their pair of home games this week to stand any chance of reaching the playoff stage.

MI Cape Town will be out to restore their momentum and push for the title.

DSG need Quinton de Kock to fire and all of their XI at their absolute sharpest to get off the bottom of the table.

MI Cape Town are only one off the bottom but a good win gets them right back into the playoff race.

The Cape Town franchise are tipped to restart the competition with an important win down in Durban.

Joburg Super Kings vs Paarl Royals | Friday 3 February 2023 | The Wanderers, Johannesburg | 13:30

Joburg Super Kings 21/20 | Tie 25/1 | Paarl Royals 82/100

The Paarl Royals face the prospect of a wilting finish to the tournament that could see their all-star team derailed.

The Super Kings have fewer expectations but are quite well-placed with their game in hand on the Royals.

Aaron Phangiso has been suspended from bowling in a blow to the Joburg Super Kings but they are bolstered by the arrival of Aussie Matthew Wade.

Faf du Plessis appears to hold the key for the Super Kings while Jos Buttler and the English stars will be important for the Royals.

The Paarl are tipped to pull clear of the Super Kings here.

Durban’s Super Giant vs Sunrisers Eastern Cape | Friday 3 February 2023 | Kingsmead, Durban | 17:30

The Super Giant take on the Sunrisers the day after a big match and could be riding high or licking their wounds.

The Sunrisers have been a big surprise package with Aiden Markram in particular lifting the team.

Dutch all-rounder Roelof van der Merwe helped his profile in the game with 14 wickets in the first part of the tournament.

The Durban franchise hasn’t seen its internationals win too many games.

The Sunrisers have certainly been the surprise package of the competition thus far and should get the job done against their coastal neighbours.
