Magic Tips Finish Prediction and Comments

The brilliant LEGAL EAGLE shook off his Met disappointment to record a super-impressive comeback win in a bizarre contest over a mile at this level, four weeks ago. He was forced to set his own gallop and though he was challenged strongly after turning for home, the exceptional son of Greys Inn proved his worth as he cam back to record a crushing victory. He has an excellent track record and is probably even better over this distance. The four-year old gelding certainly won’t have to make all the running as his stablemate STONEHENGE is most effective when adopting those tactics. The country;s top rated horse should take a power of beating on these weight terms.

The main threat could come from the three-year old BRAZUCA who is right up there with the best if his generation and he still has plenty more improvement in him. He found the ‘freakish’ Abashiri too good for him in the first two legs of the Triple Crown but his conditioner’s decision to forgo the Derby could pay handsome dividends. The imported son of Teofilo will prefer this ten furlongs and he could make his 5.5kgs weight for age allowance count. The chestnut colt is the mount of top jockey Anthony Delpech.

PREDICTED FINISH

1st 1 LEGAL EAGLE
2nd 12 BRAZUCA
3rd 2 CAPTAIN AMERICA
4th 11 INARA
5th 10 MAC DE LAGO
