PACK LEADER landed the hefty betting coup in fine style on his debut over six furlongs at Greyville last month and the Philanthropist colt appears very progressive. He should love today’s extra furlong and is clearly one worth following.

CALABASH has progressed smartly since shedding his maiden tag and is gradually increasing merit rating bears testament to that. He produced a powerful finish when just failing to catch his above-average younger stablemate over this c & d last time out. Top jockey Marcus knows the bay gelding really well and the pair should prove difficult to beat.
Race 8: STORM OUTGOING(14)
STORM OUTGOING had two fair post maiden attempts over shorter but will relish stepping back up to a mile today. He was generously docked three pounds after his last performance and could get back to form here. The Visionaire gelding is limited but will be competitive at this low-level and he showed his smart turn of foot in his maiden victory under today’s jockey. He jumps from a good draw.
