Pelicans 104 – 106 Jazz
The Jazz kept a firm grip on their playoff hopes as they clawed back from a 16-point deficit against the Pelicans. The win sees the Utah outfit maintain a firm grip on fourth spot in the Western Conference before two crucial matches against the fifth-placed Thunder and the conference-leading Lakers. It’s back to the drawing board, however, for the Pelicans who look to be heading for yet another mid-Conference finish.
Lakers 103 – 101 Clippers
While Anthony Davis stole the show, LeBron James sealed the deal, sinking the game-winning shot as the Lakers consolidated their position atop the Western Conference standings with a 103-101 win over the Clippers. Davis claimed 34 points on the night along with eight rebounds as he led the Lakers’ to victory.
