Writers’ Weekend Treble

Check out our writer’s weekend treble that equates to 9/2.

After last weekend’s narrow victory over the Jaguares, our blog writers’ have all vowed to never tip the Stormers in a weekend treble. The men from Cape Town ruined the weekend treble as they were only able to beat the Jaguares by seven points. There was good news, however, with Arron Crowie’s 4/1 – a great showing from our resident football fundi.

Anyway, on to this week’s treble. The first leg comes courtesy of Jason who is backing Newcastle to see off Fulham, while Aron is backing Everton to bounce back from their defeat to Tottenham. The final leg comes courtesy of Darry who is backing the Cheetahs to put another huge score over the Sunwolves

Newcastle 8/10 | Draw 26/10 | Fulham 3/1

Newcastle have been in great touch of late picking up some fantastic results on the road including a win over second-placed Brighton. They will return to ST. James Park this weekend in buyoant mood. Their opponents have been in decent touch themselves but ST James is always a tough place to play with the Geordie support about as vocal as they come. My money is on the homeside giving their fans something to sing about!

Newcastle Win v Fulham 8/10 (EFL Championship)
Everton Win v West Brom 13/20 (EPL)

Cheetahs 1/100 | Draw 40/1 | Bulls 16/1

The Sunwolves really are in for a long afternoon out in Bloemfontein this Saturday. Last year’s meeting between the two sides ended in a massive blowout with the Cheetahs running out 92-12 victors this weekend. And despite Cheetahs mentor, Franco Smith, making a whole host of changes, my money is on the Cheetahs handing their opponents another hiding.

Darry’s Treble @ 10/1

Blues Win v Highlanders 7/10 ((Super Rugby)
Cheetahs (-40.5) 9/10 v Sunwolves (Super Rugby)
La Rochelle Win v Racing Metro 26/10 (French Top 14)

Everton 13/20 | Draw 26/10 | West Brom 17/4

Despite Everton’s 3-2 defeat at Tottenham last time out, the Toffees put in a spirited and gutsy performance in the final 20 minutes at The Lane. They will gladly return to their fortress – that is Goodison Park – where they have won their last four games, scoring 15 goals and conceding just three times.

Their opponents, West Brom, were disappointing last weekend, going down 2-0 on home soil to relegation-bound Crystal Palace. The Baggies have travelled poorly with just three wins from 13 matches. The reverse tie ended 2-1 in favour of Everton and with home advantage, the Toffees are tipped to claim the double over West Brom.

Aaron’s Treble @ 7/1
Everton Win v West Brom 13/20 (EPL)
Newcastle Win v Fulham 8/10 (EFL Championship)
Baroka Win v FC Cape Town 17/10 (Nedbank Cup)

For The Brave

Chelsea and Manchester United lock horns in an FA Cup quarter-final this Monday. The Blues have been in formidable form, espicailly at the Bridge. Key to their solid showings has been diminutive Belgian, Eden Hazard. We fancy the former Lille man to find the back of the net this weekend. Hazard to score anytime and Chelsea to win is currently available on our price boost markets at 3/1.

Adding this leg to our Writers’ Weekend Treble will give you a 21/1 quad!
