COLORADO SPRINGS is yet to finish out of the top two in eight career outings. Despite clipping heels at the 350m mark last time, she managed to notch up her fourth career victory. She faces her toughest test to date, but is loaded with ability and should be the one to beat.

EUROPEANA won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over 1000m at Kenilworth. It must be noted that the horse that finished fifth that day has come out and won since. The manner in which she finished off her race suggests she will enjoy the extra furlong on offer. If all went well with her travels, she should be the one to beat.
