He has competed with relative success against older rivals in the past and should take all the beating from his good draw today. The big threat could come from ANTE-OMNIA who had an eye-catching last sprint albeit at a much lower level. The injury plagued five year old is yet to prove his stamina beyond six furlongs but his recent finishing burst indicates that he should handle today’s trip.

Of course he was soundly beaten by top weight FREDERICK FOX in his last c & d showing earlier this year but pole position will be priceless and the speedy gelding can finish much closer to the latter.
