The well-related son of Captain Al now faces maiden rivals for the first time and he should make huge improvement. He could take a power of beating despite facing older rivals.

ARMORIAL was rewarded for consistency when he recorded an impressive going away victory over a similar field over this c & d in late May. The win earned him a hefty six-pound penalty but the Kahal gelding enjoys this c & d and he should produce another honest performance.
Race 9: CAPTAIN QUICK(4)
There should be a cracking pace in this final handicap of the day and that will suit the Snaith inmate CAPTAIN QUICK. The three-year-old gelding clearly needed his comeback run last month and he had two eye-catching wins on this course since the turn of the year. He is well drawn and has definite claims with Richard Fourie in the irons.

GRANDISSIMO is improving smartly with experience and he is unbeaten from two c & d efforts. The son of Biarritz has the nasty tendency to jump slowly but he makes up for it with an impressive finishing burst. He did just that when catching TURBO close to home over this c & d, four weeks ago and should continue to progress. The bay gelding should handle this rise in class and he merits healthy respect in this field.
