FORT ROSS had a disappointing last showing over this c & d when he failed to quicken but his smart conditioner has equipped the Fort Wood gelding with blinkers and that should do the trick. The four year old had good form prior to that and went close to winning his penultimate run over this track & trip. He can overturn the 2.50 lengths deficit with NORDIC LEADER who was narrowly beaten in the same event three weeks ago.

MORETHANTHAT was a super-impressive winner of her local debut over nine furlongs on the grass in April and she could have a bright future in this province despite a resultant seven pound penalty.

He ran on late despite racing wide over the c & d and meets the runner-up TRACK-KING on 6.5kgs better terms for a 2.75 lengths defeat. The inmate from the Tara Laing yard is weighted to be very competitive.
