DIAMONDS AND TOADS followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1300m on this course. She was slow into stride, but stayed on nicely at the business end. The daughter of Coup De Grace meets a similar type of field today and if jumping on terms, she can go one better.

MARMARA SEA had to overcome the widest draw in the Listed Algoa Cup last time. He ran on to finish third. The 5yo gelding has won three times and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. He is a horse with plenty of class and can return to winning ways.
