WINGS N THINGS continues to improve with experience and she posted a career best effort when staying on for a close 3rd over the minimum trip on this course two weeks ago. She is bred to relish this extra two furlongs but it is always a steep rise for juveniles and caution is advised. Her good draw makes her top jockey’s task a little less daunting though.
Race 5: CHESTNUT TROOP(1)

This is an extremely poor maiden field and huge caution is advised. The top selection CHESTNUT TROOP is a long-time maiden but has shown more than enough to warrant serious claims here despite clearly preferring an extra furlong. He was 2nd best over a mile last month and it could pay to follow the progress of Four Stripes (runs in race 3) who finished behind this rival last time out. His good draw is a major asset for the Horse Chestnut gelding.

Jockey: M YENI – Trainer: C LENSLEY
ROY’S DISPREN is handling his penalties and rises in class well but faces his ultimate test on his hat-trick attempt today. That said, there was much admiration for his courageous last victory and the improving four-year old can step-up today.
Race 9: AGENCEFRANCEPRES(5)
AGENCEFRANCEPRESSE found the mile too far for him when he was soundly beaten into 2nd in a minor feature recently and will prefer this slightly shorter distance. The speedy imported gelding won back- to-back starts over six furlongs in fine fashion prior to that and can get back to winning ways in today’s field. He has all the gate speed to overcome a wide barrier.

BRITAIN’S BEST was 2nd best against male rivals recently but she should have accounted for a few of today’s rivals on her local debut over this c & d in her penultimate outing and can exact revenge back against her own sex today.
