FARIBAULT is coming along the right way and should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. He was only beaten 2.5 lengths by Flaming Passion last time and has the ability to win in this type of field. SPICY GRILL followed up his most recent win with a fair effort when beaten a couple of lengths at the wire. He comes in with a lightweight and could be one to cause an upset.

FORTUNE CARRIER was only outrun late in his last start when dictating terms from a wide draw. He is likely to race on the speed and is difficult to oppose on form. VALIANT ELEGANCE brings fair All-weather form into this race. He switches back to turf and should make his presence felt.

FAST PACE was only beaten 1.4 lengths behind Solar Power last time on the All-weather surface and should relish being back on turf. He will benefit from a 3kgs claiming apprentice and should give a good account of himself. MURRAY’S PARTNERS was beaten by a very similar margin in his last start and is capable of earning in this type of field.

A SMILE LIKE YOURS is in superb form. He won his last start in this class defeating Showina and will be looking to make it quick back-to-back wins. He is suited to this C&D and should take a power of beating. HERE COMES TED finished strongly off the pace last time. He will have to shoulder top weight which will make the task tougher but the father-son Ferraris combination must be respected.

He was only beaten a nose by Harmony N Blessed in his first run on this course and should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. METRO WARRIOR is better than his moderate last effort. The break may have done him the world of good and he can bounce back to best form.

SAVAQUIN was just pipped in his last start over slightly further by Zebrowski. He is a three-time winner over this distance and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. TELECOM FIGHTERS brings consistent form into this race. He should relish being back on turf, is a four-time winner on this course and can challenge for top honors.

CALIFORNIA CIBLE finished close-up on this course last time when beaten by Jolly Good Heart. He looks fairly handicapped and will be looking to make amends for that narrow defeat.
