The red-hot Alan Greeff stable look to have a strong hand here and the yard could complete the exacta. ONTENDERHOOKS finished a neck behind her stable companion MERYL in her penultimate start over eleven furlongs but is 2.5kgs better off at today’s weights. That should be enough for that result to be reversed. That race was of course over further, but we can look forward to another exciting finish between the two today.

DUKE OF CARDS steps back up to the mile and gets stable jockey Greg Cheyne in the irons. He loves the poly having posted two wins and a second-place finish from three starts on the surface. He jumps from a handy draw and will be hoping to post win number three here.
