POOL PARTY was running on at the finish in her last outing over the minimum distance and is likely to enjoy going back over six furlongs. She jumps from a mid-field draw and with Gavin Lerena doing duty, she should be right up there when they close in on the finishing post.

APPROACH CONTROL has the blinkers re-fitted for today’s run. He was only overhauled very late in his latest outing over a mile and should enjoy going back over the 1450M as he won his only run over the trip. It is always encouraging when Warren Kennedy keeps faith in the ride.
