QUEEN SUPREME is one of the better bets on today’s card. She ran an absolute cracker in the Horse Chestnut Stakes last time when producing a powerful late burst to finish 2nd behind Hawwaam. She loves racing over this distance having won twice and finishing second once from four attempts over this trip. The daughter of Exceed And Excel should strip much fitter this afternoon and she should take a power of beating
Race 6: MR FLOOD (3)
Jockey: V.Rensburg M – Trainer: Houdalakis M
MR FLOOD caught the eye when winning his last start with ease. The son of Pathfork is unbeaten from two starts over this c&d. He has an incredible cruising speed and an even better turn of foot. Regular pilot Marco van Rensburg retains the ride and the combination may be hard to peg back.

HAWWAAM is the best bet on today’s card. He got back to his best when winning the Horse Chestnut Stakes in his last start. It must be noted that he won this race last year by four lengths. The son of Silvano is all class and should notch up his tenth career victory today.
Race 8: MIGHTY HIGH (2)
Jockey: Maujean C – Trainer: Janse van Vuur
MIGHTY HIGH produced a decent comeback run when running on well at the finish behind some quality male sprinters. Her penultimate run when winning the Senor Santa Stakes over this c&d catches the eye. She is yet to be unplaced over this c&d and should be too good for the rest of the field.

FACTOR FIFTY has very good consistent form to her name. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish last time was encouraging. She will enjoy the step up in distance this afternoon and should strip a much fitter horse. Luke Ferraris who was aboard the daughter of Marchfield in her penultimate race steps back into the saddle.
