Race 1
BULLET SHOT is a speedy sort who has consistent recent form to his name. He returns to a lesser centre and could be the one that they all have to beat. LADY GRANDE is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she won her last start over ten furlongs and looks to be the biggest threat to the former. RIPPA EAGLE steps up in trip, but will have 2kgs removed from his back courtesy of his claiming apprentice and should be involved in the finish here. GLYCINE MAX ran on strongly to win his last outing over 1900M and should be doing his best work late.

Race 2
FLYING EUROS returns from a 23-week rest and has finished second in all three of his runs to date, two of which were at this venue. If not in need of the run, he could be the one to side within this field. TUMUT RIVER finished second last time out over five furlongs after setting the pace and could be difficult to hunt down in the closing stages. QUATUM has his first start after putting in a solid barrier trial. Any betting support for him should be respected. DAWN THUNDER returns from a nine weeks rest. He is drawn wide, but he could use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy. He should be respected in this line-up.

Race 3
BIRKDALE was running on well in his last outing over 1100M when finishing third, suggesting that the extra ground will suit the 7yr old gelding. READY TO HUMBLE has his first run after a 48-week break, during which time he was gelded. If not short of a run, he should be right up there in the dash down to the line. HOLIDAY IN DUBAI is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys and is drawn the widest, but she is lightly raced and may have more to offer here. GRAND ANTHEM drops in trip, but was placed last time out in heavy going and could pose a threat to the top three selections.

Race 4
MAJOR HEIST was staying on nicely in his last outing over seven furlongs and should appreciate the extra ground on offer here. HANNA FROM HAVANA is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has consistent formlines to her credit and should enjoy going the extra trip after finishing second last time out over 1560M. DOOMSIE seldom finishes too far off the action and is likely to enjoy dropping back in trip. SHARP WIT has had plenty of chances and is drawn the widest, but if she is able to reproduce her last effort over 1900M, she could finally exit the maiden ranks at the nineteenth time of asking.

Race 5
ANNIE ETHYL returns from a 28-week rest, but put five lengths between herself and the second horse in her barrier trial over this trip. She should be considered for all bets. AMIRYKAL won her maiden race last time out over five furlongs in, heavy going. She could be the biggest danger to the former. BEL ACADEMY set the pace and held on well to win his maiden contest over 800M last time out despite bleeding from one nostril, but a bit of caution is advised. SPARKLING ROSIE finished strongly to win her last outing over five furlongs in soft going and is one for the shortlist here.

Race 6
SHE’S SPICY disappointed when starting favorite in her last start over 1050M, but has solid recent form and will be hoping to make amends in this contest. She returns to a lesser centre and could be the one to beat. DIXIE also returns to a lesser centre and has been placed three times from four recent starts. She represents a threat to the top choice. JULE’S SPIRIT has his second run after a rest, but he won well on his return to the track and should be respected with Luke Rolls retaining the ride. VIKING RAID returns from a 11-week rest, but he did win over seven furlongs four runs back and if bouncing back to that form, he could be involved in the finish here.

Race 7
LESHRAC has disappointed in his last two outings but won over 1010M three runs back and if recapturing that sort of form, he should be right up there in the mix. SEE IT THRU moved up well when finishing third over 1015M five weeks back and has had an encouraging barrier trial since then. He is not without a chance here. WITHOUT RISK returns from a lengthy 47-week break, but has put in two solid barrier trial performances and could trouble the top two selections. LAOBAN TAI TAI finished his last race off well when fourth 1100M in heavy going. He is likely to be doing his best work late once again.

Race 8
ARCALETTE had nothing go her way last time out when held up for a run and then being bumped at the 150M mark. She did well to finish where she did and with better luck in running today, she could find herself in the winner’s box. ROGUE MILLICE will enjoy having 3kgs removed from her allocated weight thanks to her claiming apprentice. He should be considered here. BUS TICKET’S last three runs have been solid and the gelding can be expected to turn in another honest performance here. UNLEASH THE RED comes back from a 15-week rest and drops in distance. He returns to a lesser centre and may do better as a result.

Race 9
TEO TORRIATE set the pace to win her last outing over six furlongs in heavy going. She fought courageously all the way down to the wire that day and a repeat of the effort would make her the one to beat here. QUEENOFTHRCASTLE is in fine form and finished fourth last time out over 1206M at this venue. She must be considered for all bets. HARNOVA has won twice from six starts at this venue and is definitely one for the shortlist. EUROGEM was only run out of it late in her last outing over 1300M in heavy going. She may prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages here.
