RACE 1

WINNING LEGEND from the KY Young stable has put together a few decent runs. The 5 year-old bay gelding is well drawn and will make his presence felt at the business end. CATCH THE TIGER ran on well for second over 1700m. The son of Dream Ahead drops back to 1200m and must have a say in this moderate field. GOLDEN DASH showed improvement in his last start. Two of his three wins came over this course and distance.

RACE 2

IMA from the Steven Burridge yard was runner-up to stablemate Sage on his local debut. He hit the front and thought he had got the job done. Hopefully, pacifiers can correct that and he should be the one to beat here. WIND OF DUBAI showed good improvement last time. Blinkers seem to have improved him a little and he must have a say here. MARINE VANGUARD had an eye-catching last run over 1100m. The 3 year-old bay gelding will appreciate the extra 100m.

RACE 3

STARLIGHT from the Michael Clements yard looks like a top sort in the making. The 3 year-old bay gelding has looked very impressive in two wins to date and should prove very tough to beat here. KHARISMA shoulders top weight but has the assistance of a 3kg claim. The conditions will suit him well and he should be right there. THE MARKSMAN ran well last time out when fourth to My Big Boss and should go close again.

RACE 4

TIGER LEAP from the Steven Burridge yard ran on strongly last time to finish third over the mile. The extra 200m should not pose any issues. HWASONG looked a winner last time when finishing a close up third. The 5-year old bay gelding will strip fitter and is worth following. TSURIAN from the Fitzsimmons yard showed a lot of guts when winning last start and the form of that run has been franked.

RACE 5

METAL WORLD from the Lim yard had a good win on the turf last time and is up six points for that but may still have more to give here. LIM’S BESTBREAKER a big jump up in trip here but, he did catch the eye late when running home well last time over 1200m. THUNDER got up to win by a nose last time. His back over 1600m and gets a 2kg claim.

RACE 6

SMILING PROUD polytrack form not too flash but he stands out in this ordinary field and he commands plenty of respect. NEW GARDEN if he reproduces that winning form shown last start when flew home from near last, he will give Smiling Proud plenty to worry about here. ACCUMULATION from the in-from Mark Walker yard ran on nicely last time. His still winless after 26 starts but he can cause an upset here.

RACE 7

BE YOU very well-bred and has shown smart form in all three starts to date. The blinkers now go on and the form with Starlight last time is the strongest on show here. WHIZ FIZZ won nicely on debut and still has plenty of scope. He looks the type to progress and is worth following. SAGE good win over stablemate Ima last time out on the turf. He now tries the polytrack and should go well again.

RACE 8

LIM’S SHOT came from well back to take second place to Super Ray last time out. A 1200m race would have suited him better but if they roll along in front, he can still finish right up there. HIDDEN PROMISE getting on in years but gives no indication he is ready for retirement. Three thirds in his last three outings. He will enjoy a dream run from a plum draw. OUR SECRET WEAPON slipped under the radar. He has shown glimpses of ability and seems to have tightened up. Don’t rule him out from a handy draw.

RACE 9

SENOR DON an excellent second in the Group 3 Colonial Stakes back in December over the course and distance and on that form, he should go very close here. VITTORIA PERFETTA from the Michael Clements yard won well on his polytrack debut last time out and commands plenty of respect. IRON RULER the return to the inner track is a big plus and the booking of the superb Marc Lerner at 53.5kgs is massively eye-catching.

RACE 10

TUESDAY from the Michael Clements yard won impressively last time. The son of Deep Field still has plenty of scope and looks the one to beat here. LIM’S ZOOM could provide Danny Beasley with a return winner on the back of a very good run when second on latest start. FLAK JACKET from Shane Donald Baertschiger is often thereabouts and should be right there.
