OVERCOMING comes into this race with good form and gets top jockey Michael Rodd in the saddle and should be able to get the better of this field. His nearest challengers should come in the form of RIVER SUPERSTAR and RED RIDING WOOD who have finished second and third recently.
IN ALL HIS GLORY has done nothing wrong in his career thus far and finishing second and third, if he brings that form into the race he should be the one to side with in this line-up and should make it a quick double for Michael Rodd. PATTAYA, who is the ride of Vladmir Duric looks to be the biggest danger to the top selection who is in a good run of form.
PAKATAN WARRIOR goes for his hat-trick of wins today and with the manner of his last two victories he should be able to win with absolute ease. LEATHERHEAD goes over 9 furlongs today after running a good third over the mile last time. He should be the biggest danger to the top selection.
DEE MAK MAK is the value bet on the card. He raced without cover in his last start over this trip and still managed to finish a creditable fourth. A repeat of that run with a little bit of luck in the running should see him in the firing line this afternoon. Challengers should come from MA BAO BAO and MAGNUM FORCE.
MY DREAMLINER comes into the race with terrific form and is 2kgs better off with EXCELLING when losing in his penultimate and that should be enough to overturn the 2.5 length beating he received. EXCELLING did win again afterwards and is going for quartet of victories so it would be no surprise to see him defeat the top choice again.
MR MALEK has won his last two starts in emphatic fashion and it looks like he can go for the hat-trick here today, with John Powell in the saddle. SUPERSMART is the danger in the race with world-class Vlad Duric in the saddle, he has the ability to take on the top selection.
SIAM WARRIOR is another that is going for the hat-trick today and should be hard to peg back with Vlad Duric in the saddle. INFERNO is undefeated in his career thus far and has done nothing wrong in his career thus far and will challenge the top selection all the way down to the line.
TIGRESS is the selection in this open class 5 event of the afternoon, he finished third and fourth in his last two starts. THE NUTTER and BLUE CHIP were both impressive in their last starts and will challenge the top selections.
TOP KNIGHT is another Duric horse that is on a top run of form and he is the best on the card and should be good enough to beat these horses. The second-place spot should be fought out between BOLD THRUSTER and RIVER RADIANCE.
AWESOME is in a good run of form and based on his last start has plenty of speed, jockey Wong Chin Chuen gets the ride and he should be the one they all have to beat. SIERRA CONQUEROR and BUURAQ should be the ones chasing home.
