Racing this weekend sees a 14-race programme carded for Kranji Racecourse this Sunday. The best bet of the day comes in the tenth race with SACRED GIFT and the value bet comes in race 6 with ST ALWYN.

RACE 1
SELECTIONS-6-9-16-5-3
FROM THE NAVY has done well in his last start two starts finishing fourth and third respectively. He gets Vladmir Duric in the irons in this contest from a good inside draw and he should be right there at the finish. MIRAAJ was slow into stride in his last contest but ran on well to finish in fifth. He steps down in trip in this contest and should be right there if producing that same turn of foot. SUPER WIN was not striding out in his last start but did do well in his penultimate run when racing wide without cover but still staying on for a second. A repeat of that run should see him challenging the top two in the run down to the line. BOOM SHAKALA stayed on well in his last start to finish fourth and a repeat of that run should see him in the quartets in this contest.

RACE 2
SELECTIONS-10-1-5-8-2
LATENT POWER did well in his debut run when finishing just a short-head behind the winner and with the experience of that run under the belt he should be the one to side with in this contest. Jockey Louis-Phillepe Beuzelin retains the ride and the pair should be finishing of the strongest in this line-up. THE MARREBA MANGO is another that did well in his debut run and a repeat of that effort should see him right there in the run down to the line with Ruan Maia retaining the ride. SKY EYE has inconsistent form and but if able to put his best foot forward, he should be in the money this afternoon. JUST STARS improved to run fourth in his last start and if repeating that run, he should be in the mix.

RACE 3
SELECTIONS-3-7-10-8-12
CROWN GIFT has been ultra-consistent in his last few starts as he never finishes too far of the action. If bringing the same form into this race with Andrew John Sundradas in the irons from gate one, he should be right there at the finish. IMPERIUM’S last run over this trip was impressive as he finished second and if able to repeat that run, he should be right there in the run down to the line. STREET PARTY has improved nicely in his last three runs, finishing fourth, third and second. He gets JP van der Merwe in the irons and if able to continue that improvement, he should be right there at the finish.  LIM’S SHOT just won his last start, he faces tougher in this contest but can run into the money.

RACE 4 
SELECTIONS-3-4-14-8-11
PATTAYA is known for making good late progress in his races. In his latest start, he had to be checked but still managed to run on for third. Jockey Louis-Phillepe Beuzelin retains the ride and the pair merit healthy respect. TOP OF THE LINE improved when going over this trip in his last contest and a repeat of that run, should see him competitive with Marc Lerner in the saddle. LADY FAST didn’t enjoy the poly in his last contest, he steps back on the grass today and should be right there at the finish. HAPPY FRIDAY improved in his latest start and if confirming that improvement, he should be in the money in this contest.

RACE 5 
SELECTIONS-9-10-11-6-12
FIREWORKS improved in his last start to finish in second. Vladmir Duric retains the ride in this contest and from a good inside draw. He should be the one to be within the run down to the line. DAVID’S STAR has been consistent in his last two runs and a repeat of the run should see him challenging the top selection in the run down to the line. HIDDEN PROMISE raced wide in his last start over this trip, if able to get some over in this contest. He should be able to finish in the money in this contest. BEAT THE LIGHT has had excuses in his last few runs and if getting a trouble-free trip in this encounter, he should be the one to side with.

RACE 6
SELECTIONS-4-1-2-12-13
ST ALWYN has had excuses in his last start but if able to reproduce his form prior to that with jockey Vladmir Duric retaining from a good inside draw, he should be the one to be with in the run down to the line. SHOWCASE THE GOLD had a fair debut when finishing fifth. With the experience of that run under the belt, he should be giving the top selection something to think about in the run down to the line. SHOWBOUND has not finished too far off in his career thus far and if able to bring that form to the races in this contest, he should be able to run into the money. WINNING POWER needed his first run back after a rest in his last outing, he should strip fitter in this contest and must be considered.

RACE 7 
SELECTIONS-4-6-8-11-13
LIM’S ZOOM is in good form, in his last start, he raced wide but still managed to win by over half a length. Ronald Woodworth jumps aboard today and the pair should be finishing best of all. SACRED DON is a speedy sort and that showed, as he won his last race from start to finish. A repeat of that form, should see him challenging the top selection in the run down to the line. LONHRO GOLD improved in his last two starts after poor earlier form and if continuing that good run of form with jockey JP van der Merwe in the irons, he should be in the money in this contest. CHOCANTE did well in his last two starts and if continuing that good run of form in this contest he should be in the first four.

RACE 8 
SELECTIONS-10-5-7-9-16
BARBARIAN has been in a good run of form and if able to continue that form in this contest, he should be the one to be on in the run to the finish.  FREE FALLIN’ ran on in his last start when finishing third. From a good inside draw today, he should be able to replicate that run and he should be giving the top selection in the run down to the finish. KRANJI GOLD had excuses in his last start as he raced wide without cover in his last start but still managed to stay on for fifth prior to that run, he finished third and second. SAYONARA improved nicely in his latest and if continuing that good recent improvement, he should be right there.

RACE 9
SELECTIONS-6-9-5-8-13
MERYL has done well in his last two starts, finishing third and fourth. In his last start he was checked at the 800m and but still managed to run on strongly. Ruan Maia retains the ride and from a good mid-field draw, he should be the one that they all have to beat. SUN SPEAR did well in his last start when drawing away to win by three and half lengths. A repeat of that run should see him threaten the top selection. GOD’S GIFT is in a consistent run of form and should be in the money from a good draw with Ronald Woodworth. PING PONG improved in his last start when finishing third, if he confirms that improvement, he should be right there at the finish.

RACE 10 
SELECTIONS-2-4-6-7-9
SACRED GIFT has won three of his five starts to date over this trip and is the best bet on today’s card. In his last start he went over 1100 and only managed to finish fourth. Jockey Ronald Woodworth who has won on him before takes the ride and he should be running on best of all at the finish. WATCH OUT BOSS has been consistent of late and  should be the one giving the top selection something to think about in the run down to the line. LEGEND OF THE SUN improved nicely in his last start to finish second, a continuation of that improvement, should see him in the money when they reach the finishing post. ARARAT LADY is in a good run of form and should be in the first four in this contest.

RACE 11 
SELECTIONS-6-14-7-5-1
QIJI ACHEEVA bounced back to form in his last start after his penultimate was filled with excuses. From draw one with jock Ruan Maia in the irons, he should be the one that they all have to beat. AMAZING CHOICE won his last start well over the six furlongs. He goes over the extra furlong in this contest and if repeating that latest run, he should be right there at the finish. SUPER POWER improved nicely in his latest outing and if confirming that improvement, he should be in the money. GALAXY STAR hasn’t been too far off in his last three runs and should be in the quartet.

RACE 12 
SELECTIONS- 6-2-1-4-3
EXCELLING hasn’t been too far in his last two runs after. Before those runs he did win three in a row and from draw one in this contest, he can bounce back to winning ways. SKYWALK is always in the mix and with Vladmir Duric retaining, he must be respected. BOLD THRUSTER goes for the hat-trick in this encounter and he should definitely be right there in the run down to the line. SURPASS NATURAL comes into this race off the back off an impressive win and with South African jockey JP van der Merwe in the irons, he should be right there at the finish. 

RACE 13
SELECTIONS-9-4-10-12-1
KARISTO comes into the race with good form as he has finished second in his last two starts. He drops to the sprint trip in this line up and if able to bring that same vein of form to this contest, he should be hard to oppose. STAR OF JUPITER has finished second in his last three runs and a continuation of that form should see him right there at the finish in this contest. MURAAHIB comes into this contest with a consistent run of form and if able to reproduce that form, he should be in the money. SIAM WARRIOR had excuses in his last two starts after winning three in a row, if able to bounce back to form, he should finish in the money.

RACE 14 
SELECTIONS-1-5-4-7-10
MADE IN RUSSIA comes into this race off the back of a good third, jockey JP van der Merwe takes the ride and if able to produce that form of his latest, he should be the one to be with at the finish. VULCAN won his latest start impressively, and a repeat of that run should see him challenge the top selection in the run down to the line. CAPTAIN SINGAPORE improved in his last start to finish fourth and a continuation of that form should make him competitive in this line-up. GAMELY is always in with a chance and should be in the first four.
