Chester Vase winner and St Leger fourth SIR DRAGONET can play a key role in Coolmore’s operations with its middle-distance older horses and looks the one to be on in this Listed race. He was amongst five horses that provided a dramatic climax to the Investec Derby, and though unable to build on his Roodeye triumph retained a good level of form in Group 1 company. He should outclass his foes today.
Race 6: GARLAND (6) (Each Way)
Rookie handler Donnacha O’Brien has a highbrow family tradition to live up to and FLOWER GARLAND can elevate him with an earning run in this Group 3 Park Express Stakes. She looked on the up when scorching home and landing some good bets on the Polytrack at Dundalk and should have a fitness edge on some beautifully bred rivals that return from winter quarters. At odds of around 20-1 she’s worth chancing.

Goulburn Best Bets
Race 4: LOOK ONLY (7)
LOOK ONLY overcame early traffic problems to get up close home in a Class 2 handicap at Randwick and before that landed a Class 1 in decisive fashion to show he’s in the form of his life. Over the same 1000m trip he should have more to offer in what is a drop in grade for his hat-trick bid.
Race 6: CLASSIC GAMING (1)
Although his form has been in and out, at his best CLASSIC GAMING should be too good for his foes. He had too much to do at Eagle Farm last time when his pilot was found guilty of careless riding. However, he was a clear cut scorer in a Class 1 before that and given any luck in running can bounce back.
