Race 5.
THE GAUCH goes for his hat-trick after winning his last start over this c&d by two lengths. He hit the front at the 250M mark that day and then drew clear of the opposition in the run down to the wire. He has a wideish draw of seven, but nevertheless is taken to be the best bet on the day’s card. YULONG STORM has won two of his last three runs, the latest when winning from start to finish by nearly two lengths over 1100M, despite jumping awkwardly. He starts from one gate inside the top choice and could be his biggest danger. OCULAR followed up his penultimate run victory over this c&d with a fourth place finish over 1100M, 2.1L behind the winner. He battled all the way to the wire that day and was found to be lame after that event. He is drawn wide a gate twelve, but should be doing his best work late.

Race 6.
ZOFFALA has consistent formlines to his name and finished strongly to win his latest outing over eleven furlongs by two lengths. He renews his rivalry today with MISS FIVE HUNDRED who finished second in that race. She is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she stayed on well in that contest and meets the top pick on 2kgs better terms and as such, there should not be too much between the pair when they hit the line. TATALINA is another 5yr old mare. She is seldom far off the action and made good late progress when ending up in fifth place last time out over eleven furlongs, two and a half lengths behind the victor. She should be involved in the finish today.

Race 7.
THE ENZO has his hat-trick run here after winning his last two outings over this distance, the latest when putting three lengths between himself and the opposition. He finished strongly that day and from gate six, he could be the one to side with here. ZERO DOUBT had made steady recent improvement culmination with a jump to wire win last time out over this mile journey, despite being friendless in the betting markets. He has a handy draw four and should be right up there when they reach the finishing post. CRIMINAL CODE returns from a 25 week rest and has not had the benefit of a barrier trial. He drops in distance, but has joined the powerful Chris Waller stable and should be taken seriously in this line-up. REFLECT THE STARS is a 5yr old mare taking on males and returns from a 25 week break without having had a barrier trial. She also takes a drop in distance and although recorded as finishing ninth in her last start over twelve furlongs, she was just over three lengths behind the winner. She will have to negotiate a wide draw ten, but she should be included in all bets.

Race 8.
With the three late scratchings in the race, two of which were PAY YOUR DUES main rivals, the way may have been cleared for him to record his third career victory. He hit the front at the 50M mark before running on strongly to win his last outing over seven furlongs by nearly one and a half lengths. He jumps from gate six and looks to be the value bet on the program. BACCHUS was slightly hampered in the closing stages before finishing fifth in his last outing over 1500M, 3.6L behind the winner. He has a kind draw of four and should be right up there in the mix. LAST HOPE steps up in distance after finishing third in his last start over 1100M, but did win his penultimate run over this trip, so this should not be an issue. He has draw nine, but on the plus side, he will have 2kgs taken off his back thanks to his claiming apprentice.

Race 5.
MCCOVEY COVE goes for his hat-trick after winning his last two starts over this trip, the latest by almost three lengths. He hit the front at the 100M mark that day and then drew clear for a cozy victory. Jumping from his handy draw two, he is taken to be the best bet on today’s program. EXACTAMENTE followed up his penultimate run win with a second-place finish next time out over six furlongs, one a half lengths back from the winner. He was only run out of it that day and could emerge as the biggest threat to the top choice. PULL ANCHOR is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys. She showed good improvement to win her last outing over six furlongs when stepping up from the 1100M of her previous run, despite shifting about in the closing stages of that event. He is drawn one inside the latter and should be involved in the finish today.

Race 6.
HIDDEN HAIL has finished second in his last three runs, the latest over five furlongs, a half length behind the winner when returning from a 23 week break. He attracted plenty of betting support that day and with ex-SA jockey Sean Cormack in the saddle, he could be the one to go for here, starting from gate six. DANEZEL has only had the one run where he finished second over six furlongs, just a length off the winner. He was making good late progress that day suggesting that the extra ground on offer here will be to his liking. He has an even kinder draw four and should be right up there when they hit the line. KIPCHOGE finishes fourth on debut over five furlongs and then third next time out over this distance, one and a half lengths behind the winner. He tried to go from jump to wire that day and could prove difficult to reel in under the urgings of Robbie Fradd, despite having to negotiate a wide draw twelve. The form of that last race has been franked and he should be included in all bets.

Race 7.
WILLO TITTO is a 5yr old mare taking on males, but she completed her hat-trick last time out when winning by a neck over nine furlongs so she clearly has some ability. She drops in trip, but did win that last race by leading the entire journey and is sure to attempt similar tactics today. From her draw two, she could complete her quartet of victories. OKANAGAN MISS is a 6yr old mare who won her penultimate start over a mile by nearly two and a half lengths, but was then a tad disappointing next time out over the same journey. She lacked a strong finish that day, but if bouncing back to her previous form, she could threaten the former. ATOUCHMORE steps up in trip after looking a possible winner before finishing second last time out over seven furlongs, 1.3L behind the victor. He should have no issue with the extra ground as he finished fourth over the mile in his penultimate run.

Race 8.
EFFORT has posted two solid last runs, the latest when fifth over six furlongs, just over a length behind the winner when returning from a 14 week rest. He is drawn the widest of them all at gate ten, but he should be right up there in the dash down to the wire. GRAND ZOU steps up in trip after finishing fifth in his last start over six furlongs, 3.2L off the victor. He has his peak run here after returning from a 29 week break and retains the services of ex-SA jockey Robbie Fradd which is a plus. EXPRESS DREAMS on the other hand drops in distance after winning her maiden race last time out over a mile. She is a 5yr old mare taking on boys, but she has only had the three runs to date and could still be improving. She jumps from one inside the latter at gate six and may prove to be good enough to complete her double here. COME IN SPINNER is a long-time maiden, but he has finished second in his last two outings, the latest over 1300m, just over two lengths behind the winner. He has a handy draw two and should not be lightly dismissed in what appears to be an open looking race.
