Race 1
ABERDEEN QUEEN is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she finished well to win her second start over this distance. She will get 1.5kgs taken off her back thanks to her claiming apprentice and could be the one that they all have to beat. TRADENSIA is also a 3yr old filly who won her penultimate outing over this trip and must be considered. POWER OF ST GEORGE won his last start over six furlongs and takes a step up in trip here. If suited, he should be involved in the finish here. CARABINIER is seldom too far off the action and was only two lengths behind the winner in his last start over this c&d.

Race 2
ROMAN FLIRT is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she has consistent formlines to her credit. She goes the extra distance here, but she did finish second in her penultimate start over a mile, so this should not be an issue. In addition, she will get 3kgs taken off her allocated weight courtesy of her claiming apprentice. IMPERIALISM, on the other hand, jumps up in trip, but he has finished second in all four of his starts to date and will be hoping to go one better today. PERFECT HARMONY is a 4yr old filly who didn’t appear to enjoy going 1500M last time out and should appreciate the drop in distance here. SESSIONELLE is a 3yr old filly who returns from a 16-week break, but she put in a fair barrier trial to prove her fitness. She has only had the two runs to date and has cracked pole position to aid her cause.

Race 3
MISS FROST is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys. She returns from a lengthy 76-week break and has her first run for her new trainer. She has however put in two encouraging barrier trials, the latest of which she won. If fully acclimatized to her new environment, she looks to be the one to side with here. WESTERNIZE was a little disappointing last time out, but if he is able to reproduce his penultimate effort over the c&d, he could bother the former. ROCK THE PLANET is also a 4yr old mare who showed plenty of speed last time out when just under four lengths behind the winner over 1100M. She is certain to enjoy the drop in trip and should be right up there in the mix. MAKFI AMOUR has his first run since a 15-week rest and his first for his new trainer. He drops in trip, but if not in need of the run, he should be considered here.

Race 4
TOLLMAN ran on stoutly last time out over the c&d to just fail to overhaul the winner. He found plenty of betting support that day and although he has a wide draw here, he should be picking off the frontrunner in the closing stages of the race. DIVINE SHADOW was just half a length behind the victor last time out over this c&d and from his four draw, he should be right up there in the firing line. YULONG EARTH narrowly missed last outing over 1500M and should be considered for all bets. DIAMONDS FOR ALL followed up his penultimate win over 1300M with a solid effort over 1500M last time out. On that showing, he should enjoy going the extra ground on offer here.

Race 5
MAGIC WILL REIGN showed good improvement when returning from a 23-week rest to finish just a half-length off the winner over the mile last time out. From his handy draw, he should be afforded the utmost respect here. CABLE GUY got up in the shadow of the post to win his last outing over this distance. He has a wide draw to deal with, but he should be doing his best work at the business end of affairs. HARD TOO CEE has also got a wide draw to overcome, but he likes to finish his races off with a rattle and should be a factor today. PASARAN’S last effort over a mile was solid after he posted a win in his run prior to that over the same trip.

Race 6
STAROF BONNIE ROSE made good late progress when just failing to win his last start over 1500M and on that showing, he is sure to enjoy going the extra distance here. MIRACLE MAN kicked on well from just off the pace when winning last time out over 1500M. He should have no problem handling the extra ground today. WATCH ME NEY NEY was just over a half-length behind the winner in his last outing over the mile and although faced with a wide draw, he should make his presence felt in this contest. LA BIONDA is a 6yr old mare who takes on males, but she has pulled pole position. She did finish seventh last time out over this trip, but was only 1.8L behind the winner. She is not without hope here.

Race 7
POINT TAKEN is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she had her consistency rewarded when winning last time out over six furlongs. Her wide draw is a little bit of a concern, but some of her immediate rivals also find themselves facing wide gates. KELLY’S SECRET is one such runner, starting from draw ten. He returns from a 32-week break, but his form before the rest was ultra-consistent and he has had two barrier trials. BARTRADER, on the other hand, has a handy draw two to start from. He was just 0.6L behind the winner in his last outing over 1500M and should be considered here. NEXT STOP THE MOON is drawn one from the outside, but he could use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.

Race 8
QUINTARO was a winner of his latest outing over this distance and although he has a wide draw to contend with, on the plus side he will get 1.5kgs taken off his back for the services of his claiming apprentice. WE’LL MEET AGAIN will get an even greater 3kg apprentice allowance and did win his last start over a mile. He steps up in distance, but this should not be an issue. SENTIMENTAL FRIEND finished second in his last outing over a mile, just 0.8L behind the victor. He jumps from stall gate three and should be taken seriously here. ALTAMONT drops back from 2100M where he finished fourth, 1.6L behind the winner, but he was just a length behind in his penultimate start over a mile, so the drop back in trip might not be as big an issue as it first may appear.
